GOOD PHOTO EXAMPLES

• The picture should be evenly lit so that you can see details in the eyes, nose, fur, or other skin and special markings unique to your pet.

• Try to take the photo at eye level with your pet, or from above but keep a focus on their face.

• Think about how you want it to look when made into a portrait. It can be fun or serious, but make sure it shows your pet in the way you want to see it in the final portrait.

• Photos should have the detail of your pet's face and features.

BAD PHOTO EXAMPLES

• Avoid photos that have areas that are so dark or over exposed that details are eliminated.

• Make sure your you pet is in focus within the image.

• Make sure your pets ears are in the image and not cut off.

Yes!

In some, but not all, cases there is an addition charge per pet after the first pet. That charge varies between $7 and $20 depending on the type of portrait you are ordering, and will reflect in the price shown as soon as you select the number of pets you want in your portrait.

*Note: You can submit images of each pet individually or with them together in the same photo. For the best results we suggest using photos of all of the pets from the same perspective. Please see our blog post about this here.

Yes. If you don't have the perfect picture of your pets together in the same photo, you can submit images of each pet individually. Yes! We send you an email with a proof your custom artwork which will include a link to approve it or request changes.

Then you will have a week (seven days) to approve your art or request changes. If you request changes your artwork will be updated, and you will receive another proof. With each proof you will have 7 days to approve or request changes.

*It is important that you keep an eye on your email, and check your spam/junk folder just in case our proof notification emails end up there.  If we don't receive a response from you within seven days your artwork will be auto approved and sent into production. 

• Regular orders typically take 3-5 days, but can on some occasions take longer depending on the number of orders we have.
• Express orders receive a proof of their artwork in 1-2 days.

Our PawCreate promise is that we'll work with you to make your artwork perfect! Because we are making customized products, we can't accept returns. However, if your package is damaged we'll replace it right away!

Yes, we are based in the US but can ship to Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Any customs and duties to countries outside of those regions will need to be paid for on arrival by the customer.

Yes we do. PawCreate is honored to create special portraits beloved pets that have passed.

Memorial portraits are the reason PawCreate's founder, Tim Toonen, started doing pet portraits. That is why we are available to work with you to determine the best photo to best capture your pet in a portrait even when those photos may be limited. We are also happy to include your pets name and years living on the portrait as in the examples here. Just request it in the notes with your order at checkout.

Our PawCreate promise is that we'll work with you to make your artwork perfect! That is why if you receive your proof, and you aren't happy, we will make any changes you request until you are happy with your artwork and approve it. If at any point throughout this process you wish to request a refund we are happy to do so. Because each order is custom, after approval of a proof we can't accept returns.

You are able to change your photo as long as we have not already started the artwork for your order. Once we have started your portrait (typically 12 hours after your order is placed) we are not able to change photos. To find out if we are still able to change your photo please email sarah@PawCreate.com, and attach the new photo you would like to use. 

NOTE ** If you decide you want to change your photo after seeing your proof, it is at our discretion to allow it. If we are able to accommodate a new portrait from a new photo, there will be a $20 charge applied to your order.

Shipping Times
In most cases, orders will arrive earlier than the times listed below, but we ask customers to plan on the following shipping times when ordering custom art. 

USA: Your custom order will arrive within 2 weeks.

UK, Canada & Rest of World: We estimate orders to arrive within 3 weeks.

AUS: We estimate orders to arrive within 3-4 weeks. However, some orders are being held in customs and taking longer to arrive due to COVID-19 international shipping issues. 

Important to note:
• PawCreate offers 'Express Artwork Creation'. This option speeds up your artwork creation. This means your pet's portrait gets moved to the front of the queue and will be completed before our non-express orders. This will prioritize getting your order completed and sent out faster but does not speed up the courier's shipping time.

• If your order requires a new photo please understand that this may lengthen the production time.

Yes! PawCreate is located in the US, but we ship internationally.

Currently, because of legal restrictions or shipping carrier limitations, PawCreate does not ship to Cuba, Iran, Crimea, Syria, and North Korea.
